No. Anyone can sign up as an affiliate — you don't need a paid Draftovo account or brand kit. The affiliate portal is completely separate from the customer dashboard and uses its own login.

Click 'Sign up as an affiliate' on this page. Enter your name, email, password, and a short note on how you plan to promote Draftovo (a sentence or two is fine). You can also set the PayPal email where you'd like to receive payouts — leave it blank to default to your signup email. Once submitted, you'll land in the affiliate dashboard with your referral link ready to share.

20% recurring commission for the first 12 months on every Pro subscriber you refer. At $99.99/month that's $19.99/month per referral, or up to $240 per year per signup. No earnings cap.

On the Overview tab of your affiliate dashboard — there's a copy button right next to it. Your link looks like https://draftovo.ai/?ref=YOURCODE. You can share it on social media, in emails, on your website, in newsletters, on YouTube videos, in podcast show notes, or anywhere else your audience hangs out.

Automatically on the 1st of each month via PayPal. We pay out commissions that are at least one full calendar month old — for example, March's commissions are paid on May 1. The buffer protects everyone from chargebacks. $50 minimum threshold; balances under $50 roll forward to the next month. No manual request needed.

60 days. Anyone who clicks your link and subscribes within 60 days is credited to you. After 60 days the cookie expires; if they sign up after that, the referral isn't tracked. Once someone is attributed to you, every Stripe invoice they pay during the first 12 months of their subscription generates commission.

Their commission is automatically reversed in your dashboard. If they refunded before payout, the commission never pays out — it just shows as 'Refunded / Disputed' on your Earnings page. If they charged back after payout, the reversed amount is deducted from your next pending balance. This protects you and us from fraud and keeps the program sustainable.

Yes — the Referrals tab in your affiliate dashboard shows every customer you've brought in with their current status (Active subscriber, Cancelled, Refunded / Disputed). Identities are anonymized as 'Referral #1', '#2', etc. so we don't share customer emails or personal data with affiliates.

No. Self-referral is prohibited — that includes referring yourself, your spouse, your business entity, your employees, multiple customer accounts you control, or coordinating with other affiliates to refer each other. We use automated checks (payment-method fingerprints, billing emails, and network signals) to detect self-referral, and any commission earned that way is reversed. Repeated attempts will result in your affiliate account being terminated. Full details in our Affiliate Terms.

Most paid channels are fine — Meta ads, YouTube ads, newsletter sponsorships, X ads. The exception: you may not bid on Draftovo brand keywords (Draftovo, draftovo.ai, etc.) in Google / Bing / Meta search ads. That competes with our own paid traffic and isn't allowed. Email support@draftovo.ai if you're unsure about a specific channel.

Not yet. For launch you have your unique referral link and our public marketing site — most affiliates write their own copy and use screenshots from draftovo.ai. We're building a creator kit (logos, screenshots, sample posts) and will email you when it ships.

Yes. Go to Settings in your affiliate dashboard and update the PayPal email anytime. Changes apply to the next monthly payout.
